Our Story — The Beginning of Zimmerman's Digging

Zimmerman's Digging started with a simple idea: what if we brought our strengths together and built something bigger that could better serve the people in our community?

For several years, Zimmy’s and Zimmerman's Excavation operated as two separate small businesses. Zimmy’s focused on dump truck hauling and septic installation, while Zimmerman's Excavation handled the excavation, equipment, and dirt work.

We knew each other, worked in the same community, and saw how well our services could complement one another. So in January 2025, we decided to take a leap and bring the two businesses together.

Zimmy’s brought the trucks, septic experience, and hauling capabilities. Zimmerman's Excavation brought the excavators, equipment, and dirt work crew. By combining what each business had built, we were able to create Zimmerman's Digging—one team capable of handling more of the job from start to finish.

For us, this isn't just about combining equipment or expanding a business. It's about continuing to do what we've always believed in: working hard, treating people right, and helping our neighbors get their projects done.

We're proud of where we came from, grateful for the customers who helped us get here, and excited about where we're going. Zimmerman's Digging is still a local, hardworking business at heart—just with a few more trucks, excavators, and helping hands behind it. January 2025 was the beginning of a new chapter for us, and we're looking forward to building it one project at a time.
